Our kitty cats, sat on the deck rail, or on the ground below the bird feeder, picking off the birds. So I devised a system of horse panels to keep the cats away from the birds. It also makes it difficult for the squirrel to get to the seeds, he now has to reach through the fencing. To tell the truth, it doesn't seem to slow him down much. :)
